I don’t know about closing because it seems to me they want to alter what is taught in those schools, like the homoagenda.

If the schools close they lose that angle of attack.

Their end game is indoctrination. Their dream is for every kid to come of out of 13 years of public school as a LGBT-friendly, cannabis-toking, Green New Deal-supporting drone.

Their endgame is the destruction of the Christian West.

Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children’s factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, etc. etc.

— Tenth plank of communism
A lot of leftists? No. All leftists. The dogma is the abolition of family, religion, private property and national borders, all under a one-world government.

That is kinda funny that they would claim "white supremacy" when Catholic schools take everyone, and charter schools do too.

So, what is "white supremacy"?

Is that stuff that encourages people to not be idiots and crooks and to do your best as the Creator would like?

The Lord must be coming pretty soon.

The “end game” question has already been adequately addressed. The “white supremacy” part of the attack is just ludicrous, though. I’m not Catholic, but my wife (a Filipina and a teacher) is, and our daughter is in the local Catholic school... along with the children of just about every Catholic Hispanic and Asian parent(s) who can afford it (including some, like us, who can barely afford it, even with discounts from the parish.)

The end game is dechristianization. Maybe they think to run through it a bit smarter than did the French leaders of the 1st Republic (who justly ended up getting the chop), but it’s what their elites clearly seem to want.

It’s presently easier to go after Catholics for various reasons.

But the Left must ultimately do something about any and all orthodox Christians who will not accept some social “gospel” and socialism along with it, embrace homosexuals, and deny the uniqueness and divinity of Christ.

Maybe that’s part of why they’re importing Islam? Maybe they want the Muslims to do some of their dirty work for them?

Teacher Unions want the power and control that monopolies bring.

They can't stand the competition that highlights their failure.

They are desperate to indoctrinate ALL children to their culture of death and Godless, anti-American, communism.

They are obsessed with expanding their ranks and the union dues used to keep Dems in power.

Like all communists, they want you to think what they think.

There is the old story of the woman who lived in Latvia who said the Nazi’s just wanted to be in charge but they essentially left you alone. The communists were all over you because you didn’t think as they think.

Progressives have been trying to abolish Catholic and other parochial schools off-and-on ever since the 1890’s. Quite a few state legislatures — Wisconsin, Iowa, and Oregon come to mind — advanced “compulsory education” bills that mandated attendance in government schools to which children were assigned.

These were the same Progressives who advocated Prohibition, Blue Laws, easy money, independent regulatory commissions, the scientific consensus regarding the need for eugenics, etc. They weren’t all Southern Democrats in the Klan. The GOP actually got the Progressive movement rolling; Teddy Roosevelt was a Progressive GOP politician until he defected to become the newly established Progressive Party candidate in the disastrous 1912 presidential election.

The problem with parochial schools is competition. They prove that a high quality afford` abel education is possible.

Schools like those described always turn out a superior product at a lower cost. This is anathema to the NEA. The National Extortion Association is horribly afraid of competition because it ALWAYS drives up quality and drives up costs.

Why? Because if we can put our kids in private or charter schools or homeschool, they can’t INDOCTRINATE our kids, so we are DANGEROUS to liberals.
