Schools like those described always turn out a superior product at a lower cost. This is anathema to the NEA. The National Extortion Association is horribly afraid of competition because it ALWAYS drives up quality and drives up costs.
Why? Because if we can put our kids in private or charter schools or homeschool, they can’t INDOCTRINATE our kids, so we are DANGEROUS to liberals.

The Communist among us want to destroy the institution of the family. The seductive nature of this destruction describes a strategy that has no limits on its methods. Boys are being taught in the government schools that there is no consequence for sexual gratification. That gratification can come from homosexuality; not the opposite sex which carries the consequence of pregnancy. If sex occurs with the opposite sex, pregnancy can be eliminated through the morning after pill or abortion. The purpose of life is now being presented as sexual gratification without limits: the seduction.
Marriage is treated as an outdated consequence of pregnancy and not the result of a romantic attraction between man and woman. Romance is an outdated culture because it puts sexual gratification secondary to the building of a relationship with a person of the opposite sex, which is God’s plan. Sexual gratification can now come at the click of a mouse: “Girls waiting to meet Portland men for sex.”
Romance requires ones respect for another. For the Communists, selfishness is the new norm. Marriage is another outdated institution because it limits the new purpose for life: self centered sexual gratification. Our moral society, governed by Natural Law, is now being replaced by moral relativism. This encourages Big Government to do anything it wants and the Constitution be damned. As with the indulgence in pleasure, there will be no limits to what government will do to those under its rule. There will be no action subject to judgement. The moral code of the Catholic Church opposes moral relativism. Subversives from within are trying to erode the teachings of the Catholic Church. Subversives outside the Catholic Church are trying to eliminate its schools and churches. Catholicism, like other Christian religions are under attack.
Stifle competition to the failed public schools before the exodus from failed public schools bankrupts the unions.
Even home schooling is no longer free from indoctrination. In OH (and other states) there's free online public education for home schooling. That means meeting state standards. PS: no one is immune. Curriculum and materials are all written so that they meet standards, such as Common Core.
Teacher education? Almost all teachers are indoctrinated and teaching to the tests. They don't know anything else. Teachers teach what they're told to teach, when they're told to teach it.

The parochial and charter schools in our area have plenty of black students. If the kid is a good ball player, gets decent grades and keeps his nose clean they’ll even recruit him and offer scholarships. But mostly they are from intact families with parents who care.
