Every time I pass the little girls in the grocery store, dressed in their uniforms selling Girl Scout Cookies, helicopter moms hovering behind them...........I have the urge to tell them that because of the corrupt relationship that exists between GS and PP, I won't be buying their cookies. And, to tell them that PP sells live baby body parts for lots of money....and further to tell them to look it up for themselves....and to close with 'don't believe anything your parents and teachers tell you' 'think and find out for your selves'......It then occurred to me that if we had a nation-wide campaign to create a script to share with these wee cookie sellers, we could actually, maybe have some impact with these young minds that get saturated with the progressive world view on a daily basis.
Little girls join for reasons other than to support PP.
And it is not their fault nor do they have any say.
The problem is with the schools, from the kindergarten to the universities.
The states need to get the feds out of their schools.
The department of education (really the department of indoctrination) must be closed down.
And never forget that the No Child Left Behind was/is a Bush brainstorm.
I was way-layed coming out of the supermarket.
I said, “How many boxes will $10 buy?” They had no answer. Very enthusiastic, very happy and excited — but clueless.
“Three boxes is $12!” One said.
“Very nice,” sez I, “but that’s not what I’m offering.”
“We can sell you TWO boxes for your ten dollars!” another said.
“Also very nice, but that would be eight dollars if it’s four bux a box, right?” She frowned and looked puzzled.
There seemed to be a two dollar gap.
“Look,”sez I, “you’re selling cookies, right?”
Well... No! As it turns out the cookies are a “gift” for my DONATION.
They were also unprepared to make change, so my two boxes would have been ten dollars.
I was nice, but I didn’t buy any cookies.
When dealing with children, especially those not your own, it is often wise to allow yourself the luxury of an occasional unexpressed thought.
Nope. Do not aim at the girls.
If you want to take aim, deal with the leadership and protest their ideological bent.
Work to end relationships with partners and benefactors, but leave the children out of it.
While the left and socialists, actually the communists in our democrat party use children as props without caring about the long term damage to them, we do not.

Dress up like a girl scout and ask to join because you identify as a 10 year old girl. /S!

Counter productive. Merely say no thankyou and move on. Disapproval will be manifest by lack of sales. I’m just sayin’.

Seriously though- There’s i guess two approaches- help the individual girl build her self esteem who is doing something that is likely not very comfortable for her- going door to door talking to strangers- or politely decline and tell them you only eat things made with spotted owl eggs. Protesting the girlscouts should be done directly- not through unsuspecting girls who joined simply to be a part of a group of neighborhood girls

Tons of great advice on this thread showing that freepers have manners as well as brains. I can’t help but think if the shoe was on the other foot and the kiddies were shilling for a conservative cause, would leftie cookie-eaters be as kind?

The consensus here is to be polite and not attack the parents or their daughters, to which I wholeheartedly agree. I wish our educators felt the same way when indoctrinating young girls into radical, perhaps damaging, lifestyles. Should the parents object, they are labeled as racists, homophobes (fill in the blank). There is nothing subtle about the lefts attacks on our kids.

Back in 1968, I won a free trip to six flags over Texas, for selling the most boxes of cookies in my troop that year. Could be some young girl today has an innocent incentive to sell the cookies, best to not rob her of it.
