With enemies like AOC, who needs friends? No friend of mine, or friend of the GOP could ever do for Republicans what Ocasio-Cortez is doing on a daily basis...Yahoo News is portraying AOC as the "New GOP Boogeywoman" - they actually seem to think the Republicans are afraid and worried about her and her influence - with enemies like Yahoo News, who needs friends......
To: bitt
I agree with Mr. Root; AOC is a fantastic salesperson for conservatives. She needs to talk a lot more and explain in excruciating detail all the parts of her ‘death to America’ plan. Please, AOC, keep talking.
Almost makes me feel slightly sorry for Nancy to have to put up with this college-educated idiot. Notice I used the words almost and slightly.

The Democrat leadership is already planning to remove her district for the 2020 election.
Not a New Yorker and not up on their specific redistricting plans, but aren't those boundary changes usually done AFTER a census? Since there's a census in 2020, wouldn't any districting be done after that (i.e, maybe, in time for the 2022 election)?

Unfortunately this article assume that AOC is the exception rather than the rule for younger dims.
They have been raised on decades of movies and TV shows when the youth are the smart members of the family.
The millenials, Gen X and Gen Y have never been told they are wrong. They still live at home because it is easier than leaving their basement cocoon. Their friends are counted by likes on facebook, not physical social contact.
In short, like AOC, they are trainwrecks mentally and emotionally and they are convinced they are right and entitled to tell everyone else what to do.
They represent the largest part of our population.

Judas Goat (Noun) definitions:
1. a goat trained to associate with sheep or cattle, leading them to a specific destination. In stockyards, a Judas goat will lead sheep to slaughter, while its own life is spared.
2. a goat trained to find feral goats.
3. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

That's correct. Redistricting occurs before the 2022 elections, after the 2020 census. AOC's district isn't going anywhere for the 2020 election.
By the way, I just completed and mailed my census form, and the U.S. citizen question was on it.

“They represent the largest part of our population.”
Actually, no.
Every poll ever taken shows that “progressives” make up 8% of the electorate. You’re reading neo-Nazi hype from the MSM that inflates the progressive numbers times 5.
I’d just ignore this crap and go about your life. All progressive power is concentrated in a few leftist cities. Progressives are weenies and can’t do squat.

Now AOC has put a list together of dems to "primary." Yeah, euphemism for cutting out of the party.
Is Pelousy on the list?

I've posted this on a number of AOC threads in recent days -- just to put her idiocy in the proper context:
The hard-left Justice Democrats group that backed her campaign endorsed 79 Democrat candidates in the 2018 House primaries. Only 26 of them won ... and of those 26, AOC was one of just SEVEN who went on and defeated their Republican opponents in November.
Seven successful campaigns out of 79 endorsements. This miserable performance ought to give everyone an idea of just how weak the support is for people like AOC in Congress.

Nancy Pelosi wants to remove AOC from her district, and AOC, the self-declared Boss of the Democratic party, wants to remove Nancy Pelosi from her position of authority.
It’s hard to believe Nancy will be wielding her gavel much longer.
To: humbleexpert
I wonder if Nancy’s on that list yet.

Nancy waited 8 long years to get that gavel back.
