Funny how Bush has proven himself an interventionist on all accounts, except this one, where he is a raging libertarian. The HR industry of pretty much all Western nations are pushing this agenda. I’ve heard it plenty of times here in Canada.

Quite right. I’ve often said that our elites seem to care a lot more about the border security and national sovereignty of our client foreign nations than they seem care about our own.

I remember when Tucker Carlson hit the political talking head scene in the late 90’s or early 2000’s, I really didn’t like the guy. His views were basically a mix of the worst aspects of Libertarianism with the worst aspects of neoconservatism. Since then his views have obviously evolved quite a bit, and I find myself agreeing with about 90% of what he says lately.
