By de-emphasizing what the Left is doing as "not war," you are giving them a pass.

A war doesn't become a war when the shooting starts. If that were the case, it would exclude an enemy's efforts to set up infrastructure (intelligence agents, special operators, lines of communications, means of disruption/sabotage, etc.) behind the lines of their target before shooting commences as acts of war.
Go ahead and equate today’s political climate with the American Civil War, or any war, but count me out. I think it’s absurd.
