IMHO it is a bit premature to believe the coup failed.

This was during the CAMPAIGN. The Democrat media was doing all they could to assure Hillary’s victory. They were insane with grief when she lost and determined they would stop at nothing, even calling their effort “Whatever It Takes”, to right the wrong that the voters had done against Hillary and the Leftist dream of finishing Obama’s “transformation” of America.
Everyone in government who had this mindset should be arrested for treason. This was an attempted coup and should never have happened in the USA.
Nobody does anything about it.
That of course leaves out every Democrat.

The plotters overlooked the possibility that if their coup succeeded in ousting Trump, it could trigger a civil war. They believed the deplorables who voted for Trump were idiots who could be manipulated by the propaganda media into accepting an overthrow of a Constitutional election. If Trump were ousted, Pence, would be taken down by the same means. Did they somehow believe that by oustingTrump Hillary would be installed as President or Obama would be put back in the White House? I never understood their end game beyond getting rid of Trump. I believe these plotters actually wanted to overthrow not just Trump, but Constitutional government in favor of a fascist state ruled by elites like themselves.
Fort Marcy park will require parking meters to handle all the drop offs shorty... as the Clinton’s go into overdrive cleaning out the non useful idiots.
