Rethinking it a bit, the mafia was good with the deblowsio deal as the construction contract should have been pretty good for them. I think they would have cooled out the unions for now and agitated after the building and jobs were in place.

The party does not want America to be great again. The party wants financial ruin and economic collapse because the party did so well during the Great Depression.
