People ask me a lot about where I get all my coupons. Well, when I only need a couple of coupons, I usually just print them out. However, since the print limit is normally just two, when I need more I order them online such as from the Coupon Flea Market as I did in this case when I ordered 20 Celentano coupons for $1.50 per product.
I applied these Celentano coupons to their frozen meatballs and in this video I demonstrate how I ended up getting 20 12-oz bags of them for just $1 each. Finally, you can join me as I devour a $1 bag of cooked meatballs. YUmmie!
BTTT
My wife makes meatballs. From her grandmothers recipe. The commercial meatballs are emergency food. Ha ha.
Well, I enjoyed my “emergency food” especially since they were so cheap.
Including purchasing your coupons, the 12 oz package of meatballs come to $1.29 each. And more gas driving around to different stores.
Cheap tubes of ground beef divided out comes to $1.49 for 12 oz. at Walmart and $1.39 at HEB. That’s a 10-20 cent difference. Considering there is filler in the package vs. adding seasoning to the plain ground beef, it’s pretty much a wash. And no wasted gas.
The HEB grocery here doesn’t take coupons anymore. When they did, they’d take the big savings items off the shelves. The problem with the weekly ads is the local store will take those items off the shelves and put them back the next week. All I can do is look for the best unit shelf price or drive drive to Walmart several towns away so to save time and gas, grocery shopping is limited to once a month to six weeks.
Ah! But there are times when via coupons I get food FREE! It happened last month when I basically ate FREE breakfast food for almost a month. Included were 10 dozen jumbo eggs, a whole bunch of smoked bacon jowl, several rolls of pork sausage, and several bricks of coffee. Oh, and addition to that I picked up a couple dozen cans of Bumblebee tuna and a several bottles of hot sauce among other things. All free, Free, FREE!!!
How much filler do they contain? I make my own, and use oatmeal to fill ‘em out.

I’m with you.
Making things at home is far superior to mass produced products, healthier as well.
We grind our own burger & pork (with the ground pork we make Italian and breakfast sausage and we KNOW what’s in it!), bake our own bread as well (fresh French bread will be ready in three hours!)
Have a great weekend, FRiend.
I sort of treat couponing as a hobby. It’s always fun to have a cart full of stuff and only pay a few dollars.
Also, I keep an old laptop around just to print out an extra set of coupons.
PJ, I enjoyed that.
My sister has been doing this same type of thing since she was a teen. Her favorite was exploiting store specials combined with coupons. Our local Fred Meyers stores used to give double the value of the coupons one day a week. My sister would get very excited when she found some good coupons that corresponded with specials on coupon day. She would plan her visit all week and get a cart full of groceries for almost nothing. It was amazing while simultaneously be on the verge of legal theft.
I have to admit that I sometimes stop by Harbor Freight and make my wife come with me so we can to get two free LED flashlights, tape measures, multimeters, tarps, etc... Then we use their perpetual 20% off coupon to get whatever cheap item you have to buy to a few cents more off. There are usually half a dozen other old guys with their wives playing the same game. The grandkids are probably starting to get tired of getting these things for stocking stuffers however.
