They should learn to code.
The chickens are coming home to roost — once again. ;)
A start!
Come on boys and girls!
Lets give them the old Journalism School Cheer!
Two bits! Four bits! Six bits, a dollar!
Thats all I got in my cup this afternoon.
ANd yet more than a few take advantage of FR as their own personal click-farm thinking they can grow rich and famous by stealing content and posting it on their pathetic blogs.
We must encourage our young generations of conservatives to take jobs in the media and education. We need to play the same game the Communists did while taking over America. We need a secret ops plan to slowly take the media and schools back. It will be a sacrifice for the young ones looking for money, but they need to view it as a ‘service’ much like the military if we are to survive as a nation.
Ditto what you said.
Java might be a bit much for a Journalist to handle. They might have to stick with BASIC.
10 PRINT “Orange Man Bad!”
20 END
Ping.
ALEX JONES
As usual, only Alex Jones explains why, while all the Cable Clickers are in the dirt.
Obama had the U.S. Government, your taxes, finance $2 billion worth of fake news to trash Never Trumpism.
Now you know the Rest of the Story.
Ban Alex, and let us get our news from cable TV, so we never know the truth. Stick your Ostrich head in the sand.
The internet has made it easy for almost anyone to get in the "news" and "news commentary" business.
First to die were those print sources who refused to convert to digital.
Then those print and digital sources who couldn't maintain their quality.
More recently we have seen digital sources who were so desperate they resorted to fake news...gone.
During all the preceding, proofreaders and editors were squeezed out, putting more pressure on writer themselves to produce products without factual, grammatical, or typographical errors.
Bottom line: I think this is wonderful.
We are back to small town-like barriers to entry for good writers who previously did not stand a chance (hooray for pajama-clad warriors of any age or education or experience who can just deliver good, fact-based, and thoughtful news and commentary.
Bad news for those who used to thrive because they knew someone or went to the right school or had an affair with the editor/boss).
Vive Le Meritocracy.
This means to me a whole bunch of upstart bloggers descending upon FR to pawn their wares in the very near future.
Build the fence, and spread the concertina wire.
The media has nothing to sell but liberal bias, no thanks.
Too bad the fiction writing job market is already flooded.
I’ve seen this before. What does it mean?
The only jobs they are qualified for are in the produce and meat packing industry and are being taken by Illegal aliens.
They get to enjoy “Funemployment!” They should be overjoyed!
Nowhere near enough.
Danny Noonan: I’ve always wanted to go to college.
Judge Smails: Well, the world needs ditch diggers, too
