Yes. Gladys Knight was excellent last nite.
Gladys Knight was wonderful! She withstood the slings and arrows for even showing to sing, from the embarrassing Leftist leaders. She gave a terrific and respectful rendition of the NA, I had goose bumps. She really can still sing.
Adam Levine was praiseworthy for his performance after also suffering the slings and arrows of those who he very likely politically suppports. The others in the halftime show were just embarrassing. There was one stream of vulgarities that lasted at least 20 seconds. I am sorry our country has devolved to the point of thinking that hip-hop is entertainment.
One more thing......GO PATS!
4+ hours of my life that I will never get back. The Rams wasted a great defensive effort. Goff should have been shot at halftime and they should have put his backup in.
Baha, the whole night was political. Starting with Rev. Bernice King, John Lewis and Andrew Young with the honorary coin toss, every break from the snooze fest of a game was about women power or what the NFL is doing for black social justice thanks to the "inspiration" of many of the players.
I was wondering what had happened during half-time.
Nice to hear your report. SJWs deeply saddened. +1
Now this is where we split ways. I Iove soccer. Are there boring soccer matches? You bet. But some of the greatest matches I have ever seen over the past 55 years have been soccer matches.
I was not watching it. I was watching railroads... virtual Railroad site...
Didnt see any players kneeling during National Anthem.
I wouldn’t dare watch either, as I was in spirit with the Boycott Bowl parties in Nawlins.
Quite the bash.
This guy simply doesn't get soccer. That's about the most charitable thing I can say. There is a reason soccer is BY FAR the most popular sport on the planet across every continent and every race, in rich and poor countries, while hardly anyone plays American football to any meaningful extent outside North America.
I’m with you once a rabid fan now haven’t watched a minute of football in two years. Don’t even miss it
Elijah Cummings was on the field for the opening coin toss because ... Atlanta. But he didn't speak.
But the commercials were social justice garbage. Roger Goodell checked his white privilege by mingling with Civil Rights Leaders. Tom Hanks and the Washington Post preached to us about a free press (translation: believe our fake news!)
Most of the other commercials were more weird than anything else.
I have not wavered at all in my complete and total commitment to avoid the Kneelers of the National Felons League, nor shall I.
In the end it's just another football game, and no football game can stand up to the two weeks of hype associated with the Super Bowl.
It's all over the media this morning that Maroon 5 was "terrible" and "everyone" hated their performance.
Pay no attention. Maroon 5 did just fine. The anger is that they didn't kneel (added to the pain that Trump's team won).
Ah, the typical sanctimonious “this guy just doesn’t get soccer” soccer fan has arrived.
Go away.
There was a recurring theme in the NFL spots about their players being social justice warriors in their communities (I like the community work but don't see the connection to being SJW)s. There were several spots about Atlanta being central in the fight for integration in the 60s (that fight not being done).
I found that stuff nauseating. There were a few clever ads, but not as good as previous years.
The game is described accurately above.
There’s more virtue signaling on this thread than there was in all of the game yesterday.
The usual “soccer sucks” football crowd rear their not so pretty heads yet again. So what’s new? It’s not being sanctimonious to point out that a lot of Americans(especially of the older generation) view soccer just a wee bit different than the rest of the world.
