Maybe they had reason to feel “uncomfortable”. Don’t you remember all those Trump supporters waiting outside Hillary rallies to assault her supporters in 2016? < / sarcasm >

If she had a set(?)😳 she'd tell the offended ones that there are no snowflakes allowed at that gym. But, we know how this works.

Well, it IS a gym - we wouldn't want anyone to feel uncomfortable....
(Hey, these weights are too heavy and hurt my biceps; it's too hot in here, I'm not comfortable; this stairmaster is making my thighs ache - it's uncomfortable...)

Do that to me and you refund my membership fee and issue a written apology. Do that to me and you'll face a public accommodations lawsuit and you'll either shut up or I'll end up owning your business. (Well, me and my lawyer. Mostly my lawyer...)

Btw, I always thought it was odd that some people feel the need to go to some business and pay them to exercise in a group setting. I did all that in the military and have no desire to repeat it. I have no issues exercising on my own without the group setting or the bills.☺

I do not understand this sequence:
1) “This may be your lunch counter, but I can sit here if I want to, and you cannot deny me service just because of the color of my skin.”
2) “This may be your bakery, but I can order a pro-homosexual cake, and you have to bake it even if it offends you.”
3) “This may be your gym, but I can wear a shirt that supports our elected president if I want to.” -— NO YOU CAN’T!!!!!

As far as I am concerned, if someone accused me of being racist because I wear a MAGA cap or a Trump t-shirt, they have defamed my character without cause. They know nothing about me aside from the cap /shirt I wear. I might be for Trump because he is a real estate investor. I might have liked his TV show. They might be offended by it all day long, but to say that I am racist does damage to the public perception of my character with no cause of saying it. I say it should be litigated.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
“The owner Liz came up to me and said that Trump shirt I had on was offensive and said I needed to remove it in order to work out there, and that it is linked to racism. I hate the word, its used way too loosely. Its 2019, get the hell over it, its not racism, Talbot said.
As long as we react defensively whenever they toss around the word “racism” we lose. We just help them weaponize the insult.
It’s time we embrace the insult, that’s the only way to defang it.

I’d be very tempted to go back with a Confederate Battle Flag hat and shirt on.
With a lawyer on speed dial itching to make an example of these communists.
