He wasn’t hiding it but no one pays attention to what he was saying at the time he was killed. He’s one of the gods in the American civic religion.

And no one today has ever heard of MLK’s two long time advisers Stanley Levison and Hunter Pitts O’Dell.

But President Kennedy and FBI Director Hoover had heard of them and it’s why they wiretapped King.

Levison and O’Dell were both members of the CPUSA starting when Stalin was running that show.

Amusing to see the usual MLK worship considering how excited everyone gets today over charges of collusion with the much reduced Russia. The Soviet Union was far more dangerous and to be members of the CPUSA Levison and O’Dell had pledged their allegiance to the USSR. King knew this, he wasn’t in the dark. JFK warned King to get rid of them and King wouldn’t do it.

King & his inner circle’s major accomplishment in the 1963 March was to bring together all the hardcore Marxist groups, including people who had been intense rivals in the pursuit of power. But that achievement should hardly endear him to Conservatives. What he was demanding was more Leftist oriented intrusion by overreaching Government into the lives of Americans.
