If they were indeed surrounding his wife and daughter he should have extricated them and moved on.
If his concern was his wife and daughter, he should have let it go at that.
No good deed goes unpunished.
He walked away and the mob of feral animals continued to harass and attack him and his wife and child. They were intensely threatening, rushing him, pushing, and screaming. He was pushed emotionally and physically to extremis. His actions were completely justified. They stopped the attack.
12-16 yr olds are arrested charged and convicted of murder every year. They can inflict the same injury as an 18 yr old. If I think my life or my family’s life is in danger I will ‘Take Them Out”!!!! I will put my life in the hands of a jury....it is the only choice I have!!!
Agree
Its a direct quote you azzhle :)
Wrong. Its about race and black privilege, as inspired by the Obama/Holder Axis. And one man stood up.
Which is ridiculous in light of the size some teens can reach.
Not that that girl qualified in that regard, but a kid that arrogant to come back for more is clearly a threat.
The woman and child in the video are NOT with this man.
At this point, there’s no info that he was with anyone at the mall.
P.S. It seems everyone (of all different persuasions, all over the internet) is making the same assumption that the woman and child are with him. (I made the same assumption.)
More info:
The man’s lawyer speaks:
I support the guy who nailed her. She had no business charging anyone but then her culture does encourage this behavior. Just as it does to run after the fact.
Kids are not ‘children’ today..so I dont know if race plays any part in it.y hat is off to the guy who nailed her when she charged at him as she did....she was ‘high on the violence’ that engulfs her culture.
Yep..he should walk.
Nah,...more than likely she learned this taking on her own mom and as likely there’s no dad in the home.
Bell saw ‘hood-rats harassing a woman’......when one charged him he flattened her. These punks are not “children” they’re punks, and they’d just as soon come at you charging with a knife.
UPDATE
From Mr. Bell’s lawyer:
Okay, he was with family at the mall, according to his lawyer, but he says he was escorting another woman outside (off-video?).
You are assuming facts not in evidence.
The question is why did this guy inject himself into this situation?
The behavior of these animals has been going on in cities since I was a kid (a long time ago.). You keep walking. There is no reason to engage them.
The link to the video wasn’t working for me yesterday, but today I found it. I have been in similar situations with screaming idiots all around. Not being there, it is difficult to know for sure how all this started and evolved into this melee. The video does not make it look that much like he was in fear for his safety... more like he was acting out in frustration.
The girl that was attacking him was old enough to know that she was in a group that gave her safety and was from a protected class, protected age, and protected sex. So she felt safe harassing and attacking a stranger. According to the guys attorney he has PTSD and a traumatic brain injury, in other words he has a screw loose. So if someone pushed his buttons he was likely to lash out.
I hope that kids learn from this video that if you play stupid games you sometimes win stupid prizes.
Probably most of us have been in situations with out-of-control groups of kids/teens. I also watched the video with my own experiences in mind.
Yeah, he didn’t look fearful to me, either. Maybe because, in my view, when being harassed by kids/teens, people don’t throw a punch unless they’re sure the kids/teens aren’t coming back to kill them. (And this man wasn’t exactly backed into a corner with no other choice.)
Yep, kids learn the hard way. I guess most of us did. This girl learned young. TBH, I didn’t learn until I was close to 40 never to argue with a big man (i.e. road rage incident - guy yelled at me - I yelled back - note to self: never do that again - lol).
