The Clintons gave us the politics of personal destruction - poke your head up and get personally slammed.

A militant conservative right wing media? Where?
I see a few bloggers once in a while who talk tough and demand action. But thats about it.

The problem is some conservatives will complain about how low and rotten the left has become and then respond in kind. Its completely natural. I find myself doing it. But we need to stay above it if we want to continue to claim the moral high ground. Bu it is really difficult to do in practice.

Too big to fail
During the French Revolution, did anyone say 'There's too many heads to chop off'?

The days of sherry-and-harpsichord conservatives—the counterpart of wine-and-cheese liberals—are past. President Trump is teaching conservatives how to fight.

There was a time—long ago, it seems—when all sides of a given dispute would rationally debate, investigate possibilities, and see the best side win. That was about 1924, as I read the history.

We need to open a “free helicopter rides” business.

For a long time the only ones pushing back seemed to be mildly conservative writers. Yet, this was a losing battle. Looking more closely, these writers seemed to feel bound by olden rules of propriety and self-censorship. They wrote weak articles that merely documented a condition, without naming names or taking a stand. And yet, here is ole Jeffrey, refusing to name names, too.
So I will.
Or should I say George Will.
Yup, he's one of them who aren't named.
David Brooks.
Jennifer Rubin.
Kathleen Parker.
David Rodham Gergen.
William Crystal.
Carl Rove.
Jonah Goldberg.
Charles Krauthammer (RIP).
David French.
Add as you see fit...
