(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

Macron is concerned that they still have the Robespierre retirement system.

We need to have a pool on who will be the first “leader” to get the boot in 2019 ...
Will it be Macron - who acts more like a cornered rat with each passing day? Or Britain’s incompetent Theresa May? Or maybe the people of Venezuela will turn on Maduro like the Romanians did on Ceaucescu? Or Cuba (wouldn’t that be great)?
So many possibilities!

Typical leftist politician. Poops all over the populace in favor of their scumbag elite crooks.

He denounced those who use the protests an "excuse to speak on behalf of the people" and those who: "attack the elected officials, the police, the journalists, Jews, foreigners, homosexuals" as he put it. Hmm...who is it that is violent and doesn't like elected officials, police, journalists, Jews, foreigners, homosexuals? Oh, Macron is talking about the Muslims, isn't he?
To: Nextrush
They sound absolutely deplorable..........

Knowing our luck it might be Trump.

Or Netanyahu
At least he's showing some leadership, although minority governments are always notoriously unstable, especially in Israel ...
but Macron and May are different, they both have majorities in their Parliaments, but the citizens simply hate their guts because of their cowardly behavior - and that's what will remove them from power

BTW, it won’t be Trump.
Despite CNN’s histrionics, there’s no protests in the streets over Trump.
Europe is different, there’s something spontaneous happening there daily now. People don’t do that unless they’re REALLY ticked off.

2 Libertee egalite fraternitee
Text displayed on a placard announcing the sale of expropriated property (1793 - the year of the "Great Terror"). Soon after the Revolution, the motto was often written as "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity, or Death". The "death" part was later dropped for being too strongly associated with the excesses of the revolution.

He sounds like a downright right winger here...
“”In recent years, we’ve engaged in a blatant denial of reality,” Macron said in the address, delivered - unusually - from a standing position. “We can’t work less, earn more, cut taxes and increase spending.”
.....
Among the priorities he listed for 2019 were trimming the bloated public sector, as well as the unemployment and pension systems.”
He’s going to suffer the pains of hell with this program.
Political rule number one - whichever politicians cuts bennies that people have gotten addicted to will have hell to pay.
