Another phrase along the same lines used back then was “... there’s not a SHRED of evidence...” Emphasis was on “shred” served up with a really contrite look on (insert Clinton stooge name here) face.

“Many feel...”
Today’s language of “enemedia bullsh!t speak”; not technically lies (since everyone in the newsroom technically says/feels the anti-Trump, anti-American venom to be spewed, but certainly not indicative of any real impartial public research. Trump’s election victory was undoubtedly assisted by his willingness to publicly attack the media BS. The phrase “fake news” drives them nuts; they’ve been exposed by no less than the President of the United States.
