We shouldn’t get carried away with comparing the looks of our first ladies.
What about comparing the way the press treats them?
Melania is maligned in the press because of her last name. Michelle is adored because of her extreme liberal politics.
Knowing their public personae, I would much rather spend time with a gracious and intelligent First Lady like Melania.
If that is all it was, I would find it distasteful. But the media has always treated Michelle as if she is the second coming of Jackie O. Passing her off as a fashion icon is just more fake news.
It’s less about their respective looks than it is about the fake media narrative that you CAN make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear.
