My suspicion is that the judge will use this to castigate Mueller but it will not change the outcome of the plea deal.

Yep, that's basically what he did in the Manaford case.

Well why on earth would he volunteer to his own destruction at the hands of the Deep State and their media?

I agree with you and Mueller is an arrogant prick who thinks he can toss the Judge a bone.

The judge specifically asked for this document.

I don't think he did that just so he could "castigate" Mueller and let the case stand.

Personally, I think everyone involved in the case knew all along what was going on ... and the judge and Flynn's legal team waited until they had irrefutable evidence of prosecutorial misconduct before they would take the next steps.

Your prediction is a likely one, but boy the persecution of Flynn is really on display. It is very unusual that the judge told them to provide the original interview notes - and they didn’t.

Agreed, there will be a bunch of bluster followed by nothing.

Unfortunately, that's my prediction too.

Sadly, that is what we have come to. A lot of lip service but no justice. I suspect that you are right - the empire has won again.

My thought as well.

He could have thrown it out months ago; it is that egregious an abuse of power under the cover of law.
