The Yellow Vests are planning protests with specific sites given in Paris as the Champs-Elysees at 930am tomorrow (330 am Eastern US). Protesters are set to be at the Palace de l'Opera between 1030am and 1230pm. Another gathering for protest set at the Port Maillot-Gare Saint Lazare at 10am.
Protests are set in other cities like Marseille, Bordeaux, Toulouse and Nantes. A protest is set for the Mont-Blanc tunnel and there are other locations listed.
BFM-TV in France reports that fewer buses have been chartered to bring protesters to Paris tomorrow.
24 journalists in France have filed complaints against police since the protests began.
The journalists say that police confiscated their equipment and protective helmets they brought to cover the protests..
BUT IN SOME CASES THEY SAY POLICE HAVE DELIBERATELY FIRED ON THEM FLASHBALL SHOTS CAUSING INJURIES INCLUDING ONE IN THE EYE.

And at this point in time, we are failing, miserably.
I don’t get what everyone on this site and others are getting so excited about, they’re protesting not enough government services. Can’t get the French out of themselves I guess.
Why did you not just go to a hardware store and look in the PPE section for yellow Safety vest?

I wish the VC and NVA had worn yellow vests when I was hunting them in ‘Nam.
And if one can afford a Yellow Vest, one might consider finding one of the FR “Donate” buttons....it’s a more direct way to do something positive than buying a novelty item “in support” of something...

Well, I am supporting the first part of what they are protesting. The UN Mass migration plan, and their government using resources on all the so-called refugees.
I agree that part of what they are protesting is that their tax money is not being spent on French people. But maybe after this they will learn that taxes could be lower if there were less social services. Maybe it’ll be a one-step-at-a-time process.
In the meantime at least they are protesting the invasion of their country. Who would have thought the French would be the first just stand up to it.!

What did it mention?
It was only a couple interviews I heard on youtube. But they just talked about how they’re not getting their government services out in the sticks. I was like, typical French.

Our electing Trump is what made this possible for the French people.
Bummer, I thought they were learning their lesson. Oh well, it’s still fun to see them fight the government.
We set a pretty good example in 2016, that seems to be catching on else where.
I just hope we don't screw it up in 2020.
