My Bible says Salvation comes through faith in Christ, not whether you put this spin or that on Ezekial or Daniel about some future events. These folks hung up on prophesy would be better off focusing on Jesus and evangelizing about HIM
hung up on prophecy? Why did the Lord provide so much of it if if we should set it aside? I always thought it was more of a comfort knowing that God is in control even as the world spins seemingly chaotically? 1st Thessalonians 5:11 says to comfort each other with these words. What was he talking about in the previous chapters/verses? My understanding was these people he was writing to thought they missed the 2nd coming , so Paul gave them a prophetic outline of what would occur? Followed by a gentle command to encourage and build up each other with these words. It's obvious to me ( at least) that our faith is not in vain when I study prophecy.
Whatever, there's a lot of prophecy we shouldn't get too hung up on right?
