Et tu Tucker?

If viewers want to see a host engaged in Trump bashing, there are dozens of other outlets they can watch

Any American who follows the news coverage of President Trump knows that the mainstream media is completely opposed to him. Their coverage of his administration is biased, relentlessly negative and needlessly nasty. These haters could not even take a break from their Trump bashing during the funeral of former President George H. W. Bush. Liberal activists, masquerading as journalists on MSNBC and CNN, criticized the President for such trivia as folding his arms during the service and not singing from the hymnal like the other former Presidents. This pettiness is typical from a media that is afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome.

We have been watching OAN more and more lately.

I have been watching OAN for a while too. I gave up on FOX a long time ago. I'd love to know the real numbers on how many viewers they've lost.

There is an act against the military doing what you suggest.

BS. Posse Comitatus is intended so that the military cannot be used in every day law enforcement. Securing our borders is a 100% in the realm of defending this nation against invaders and THIS is what these low life grass crawling invaders are.

Easy to look up:

The Posse Comitatus Act is a United States federal law (18 U.S.C. § 1385, original at 20 Stat. 152) signed on June 18, 1878 by President Rutherford B. Hayes. The purpose of the act – in concert with the Insurrection Act of 1807 – is to limit the powers of the federal government in using federal military personnel to enforce domestic policies within the United States.

Securing the border has nothing to do with this. Quit drinking the kool-ade.

Not fair criticism. President Trump DID NOT elect Paul Ryan as House Speaker after the Boehner disaster. Trump never had a Republican led House. It’s been split with Republican Establishment against him. Jim Jordan was whom we needed.

The good news is that with the Rats taking Congress, at least now Trump only has to deal with one enemy instead of two.

I said pay attention because it’s not Trump who wants open borders.

If you don’t know this, you’ve been unconscious for the past three and a half years.

In other words, the job isn’t finished yet, and you realize you need to have some patience.

I’d say you’re right on target.

Given the foolishness of what Tucker said as measured against the severity of our national problems, I can’t think of any reason any of us should even remember his name after this thread is over.

“...when he came out one night and made the inexplicably ignorant claim that the Democrat game plan was to delay his confirmation until after the 2018-19 Supreme Court session began on October 1st and he’d be ineligible to serve for another year.”

They DEFINITELY wanted to drag out the fight beyond the election, since the issue was lose-lose for the Dems. In other words, support Kavanaugh and their base stays home; oppose Kavanaugh and Republicans come out.

The part regarding another year doesn’t make sense, but if the Dems had won the Senate by delaying Kavanaugh just enough, then Kavanaugh would have never been confirmed (unless in lame duck).

But how is it mentally possible to forget about the scope of the problem Trump is dealing with?

Let’s review for your sake:

1. a vast array of communists spread throughout all walks of American life and plagued by a mindless desire to take down our country

2. a wall of MAGA resistance made up of an industry-wide, communist loving fake news establishment

3. an infestation of republican politicians addicted to pleasing the communists

4. a growing pile of corrupt, even murderous, bureaucrats whose life agenda is to expand the above problems

By the way, I can tell you’re lying because I’ve spoken to Border Patrol agents.

Because of Trump, the morale of the Border Patrol has skyrocketed.

My experience in state-level politics in years past can be summarizes as: (1) it is a blood sport, you have to to have a thick skin (Trump definitely has it); (2) there is no end, no conclusion, ... it continues ad infinitum ... (3) when elected, that is your window of opportunity to try to make changes, the window closes fast because the next election around the corner, and and (4) as Machiavelli wrote in “The Prince” ... to make change in the system, you get the full force of the enmity of the current holders of power and the luke warm support of those who would benefit from the change.

The immigration issue isn’t over, it isn’t lost, the fight isn’t over. The opposition is not going to roll over; the results of the last federal election bought them another 2 years to resist any immigration law changes. For 2020, they will point out every minute that not only did he not build the wall, MX didn’t pay for it. Trump has to consider how to use executive power he has to show that these people obstructed him every step of the way to get things done for the American people. That will change the focus of the debate to why democraps support illegal immigration, or don’t see illegal immigration as a problem. They do not want to go there except in the most gerrymandered democrap districts.

Patience less of what I am saying than understanding the political reality on the ground. Trump has shown that he follows the rule of law, unlike a few of his predecessors, and he is doing everything he can to do something. Maybe he can do more. Tuckker throwing him overboard because he is not a dictator who can impose his will on illegal immigration is not in the realm of political reality. What he needs is support.

One final comment. Our Founders created a divided power system so that it would be very difficult to laws that impact the lives of ordinary Americans. For some reason, that only seems to work when GOP is in charge.

"Which is the crux of Carlson's lament...that Pres. Trump has squandered the best opportunity to get the border wall funding via a GOP majority,...Its fair criticism."

Heh. We all know that's false. We know about Flake, Corker, the aged feminazis and the few others in the creepy, weirdo states full of foreigners. The trash is being tossed out, little by little. Flake, Corker and Heitkamp are leaving because of their opposition against the President and the good man he appointed to the Supreme Court. ...few more to go.

Fox News stinks. MAGA and Trump 2020!
