George H.W. Bush, the 41st U.S. president and father of the 43rd president George W. Bush, died on November 30, 2018, at the age of 94. He passed away less than eight months after his wife, former first lady Barbara Bush, died at the age of 92.
The former president will lie in state in U.S. Capitol from Monday to Wednesday. There will be a state funeral for George H.W. Bush on Wednesday at the Washington National Cathedral, and a memorial service for the former president will be held on Thursday in Houston. He will be laid to rest at George H.W. Bush Presidential Library Center in College Station, Texas.
George H.W. Bush was born into an exceptionally privileged, wealthy, and influential family—and was undoubtedly the patriarch of the modern Bush political dynasty. His eldest son, George W. Bush, was the governor of Texas and a two-term U.S. president. His second son, Jeb Bush, was the governor of Florida for eight years. And his grandson, George P. Bush, has served as Texas land commissioner since 2015.
The Bushes are the epitome of “old money”—their wealth stretches back generations, and they are rich, but never flashy. George H.W. Bush’s wife Barbara famously wore fake pearls and $29 shoes to George H.W. Bush’s inaugural ball in 1989. The two were married in 1945, and were celebrated for being dedicated to each other and their ever-expanding family no matter where life took them, including Texas, the White House, and their family compound in Kennebunkport, Maine.
Barbara and George H.W. Bush were married for 73 years. She passed away on April 17, and was laid to rest at her husband’s presidential library in Texas....

Trumps father didn’t exactly have a stellar history either and I sure wouldn’t want that brought up when his time comes when we mourn his passing.

The Bush family has kept mostly silent about this issue [the Nazi connection] although some Bush sympathizers claim that Prescott Bush had no idea his bank was funding the Nazis. This claim is highly unlikely due to the fact that Prescott Bush founded the Bank along with a fellow by the name of Cornelis Lievense, who served as the President of the Bank while Prescott Bush was the Vice-President. Cornelis Lievense was a Dutch businessman who was ery wealthy and spearheaded many corporations. One such company was the Domestic Fuel Corporation, which was blacklisted by Canada in 1940 for the same reasons his bank with Prescott Bush was seized in the U.S. Are we to really believe Prescott Bush had no idea Cornelis Lievense was doing business with the Nazis?? You also have E. Roland Harriman, who was the brother and business partner of W. Averell Harriman. The Harrimans are known to have been doing business with Hitler’s regime.
In 1942, many of the Harriman’s business interests were seized by the Government under the “Trading with the enemy act”. Among the companies seized were: Holland-American Trading Corporation, The Seamless Steel Equipment Corporation, Silesian-American Corporation, and of course, the Union Banking Corporation. It is a well accepted fact that E. Roland Harriman was a good personal friend of Prescott Bush. They were both Yale graduates and members of Skull and Bones. Again, the theory that Prescott Bush was not aware of these Nazi ties does not hold water.

GHW Bush’s grandfather, Prescott Bush Sr, was trading with Nazi Germany up to 1942 when the Company’s assets were seized under the Trading With the Enemy Act. Prescott Bush was under review by a former US Nazi war crimes prosecutor to argue that the late senator’s action should have been grounds for prosecution for giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

I have to hand it to them, they were way ahead of me at the time. I was fooled with the Bush deception but I am WOKE now.
The really weird thing is how some so called conservatives make excuses and refuse to see evil just because it goes by the name of republican or served in the military.
