Exactly right.

Like RomneyCare, abortion, and marijuana, the law should be the individual product of individual states.

BTW: Ayaan Hirsi Ali wrote of her own FGM in Somalia, and said the cutting had no effect on her sexual experiences.

I know. Sometimes freezers who will argue “states rights” for days on a civil war thread, will come onto this thread and make silly statements.

The Federal Government has no business making this law. Most of us think Roe v Wade should be sent back to the states.

You cannot have it both ways.

(And this is not a post in favor of the practice. It’s the most ridiculous cultural piece of crap that anyone could come up with.)

agree. He could have found a Constitutional right to FMG based on the right to privacy in the XIV Amendment.
