COMMENTARY: Donald Trump must restore election integrity

It’s no secret that I believe we have a big problem in America. We have lost “election integrity.” It’s no secret that I believe voter fraud is going on across America — with Democrats winning races based on mysterious, magical ballots appearing out of nowhere. It’s no secret I believe illegal aliens are voting in large numbers. But the time for talk is over.

Now is the time for solutions and actions — specifically executive orders by President Donald Trump. He must act alone because Congress never will. Democrats will never fix the system. Democrats claim there is no voter fraud. They don’t see a problem.

But there is no reason for Democrats to object to any of my proposals. Not one of my proposals will stop a single legal American citizen from voting. Not one of them will stop a person of color from voting. Not one of them will ever cost Americans living in poverty a single red cent. There is no downside of any kind if you really believe there is no fraud.

Trump must single-handedly guarantee election integrity for 2020. Only he can do it. He must rule by executive order.

First, the president must issue an executive order supporting national voter ID for all future federal elections. Why would anyone object to making sure all voters are exactly who they say they are? Liberals will call it “racist” and an attempt at “voter suppression.” I have the answer to that.

So what you are saying is the SCOTUS has overstepped its authorities? Specific constitutional issues aside, the administration of elections belong to the states.

Wayne Allen Root advocates rule-by-decree dressed up as executive orders. No thanks. We had enough of that under the Bamster.

“Specific constitutional issues aside, the administration of elections belong to the states.”

I don’t know what your problem is. Under the Constitution, elections belong to the states.

But have you never heard of the voting rights act of 1964? It gave the Federal courts jurisdiction over state elections. It may not specifically say that in the law but the implementation of the law requires it. And did you know every time a state redraws its voting districts, they have to get permission from the Federal Courts.

And when the voting gets questionable, the Federal Courts step in, as in Florida in 2000.

The redistricting of Pennsylvania, that gave the democrats an inside track to win in the elections, was taken to the Supreme Court and was blessed by the Supreme Court.

My problem is I am a constitutionalist. The voting rights act is unconstitutional, the only cases that SCOTUS should be hearing a specific issues contrary to the written ink in the Constitution.
