This will go nowhere.
The real issue is how in the world does this loser have a home, live in Hancock Park, and not in her district, as required.
That and Al Sharpton’s failure to pay his taxes, with no IRS blow back is an outrage to the rest of us.
These assholes get away with everything because they are_________. (Fill in the blank).
Pretty soon, Nancy Pelosi should be thanking Maxine for saving America too.
Don’t know that California requires residency in one’s district. In any case, the Democrat-controlled Congress won’t expel her, the current Congress can’t expel herrequires 2/3rd vote, if she were expelled, her district would overwhelmingly re-elect her. I suppose that if she were caught on camera robbing a bank, she might have some political problems (but she might get reelected from her jail cell) but for what is cited herfund-raising shenanigansshe’s untouchable.
Liberal
I agree. Politicians have been doing this for years, and I don’t necessarily see a problem with the concept. (That is the concept of joint campaign literature - the question of how it’s paid for is another story.)
I suppose it’s fine if each campaign pays for their share, but what if the campaign won’t pay?
I recall a certain candidate for state senate in PA endorsing Mike Dukakis in 1988 - clearly he sensed that Dukakis was going to win the Democrat nomination, and he was trying to woo Dukakis’ supporters.
Should he have been forbidden from mentioning the endorsement if the Dukakis campaign didn’t pay their share?
