The Polar Bear was their ‘perfect’ victim and icon. After so many decades of Coca-Cola Ads and Anthropomorphic Disney-fication, people were attuned to the cute things, that would kill and eat you in a arctic heartbeat.
This takes their ‘victim’ away, so they’ll have to find a new one, like the Baby Fur Seal..............

Go to the Polar Bear portion of Lincoln Park in Chicago. You can see them swimming under water and it is quite a sight, huge creatures with the grace of a porpoise, very beautiful in its way.
