My November 9, 2018 weigh-in. 246 pounds or 20 pounds less than my September 28 weigh-in of 266 pounds.
I am zeroing in on a 100 pound loss and I am going to try for it at December's weigh-in when I hope to hit 220 pounds. Since May 27 when I weighed 320 pounds I have lost a total of 74 pounds.
I just know that protein is not fattening, you can eat as much as you can.
There is nothing wrong with breaking your diet for a special occasion like Thanksgiving, as long as you get right back to it afterwards.
Cograts. Are you changing lifestyle or just dieting? Big difference in outcome.
“She quit trying, soon after, and I’ve always felt guilty, even if it seems crazy or egotistical to think I could have made a difference.”
Something that I always tell my kids (and others beating themselves up over something) is that you cannot change history, you can only learn from it. You are not at fault for what your cousin - an adult of normal intelligence - did or did not do. That you feel guilty is simply a reflection of your essential decency - that you feel responsible to and for others.
The big difference is I was able to cut out the carbs via Crave Stop.
I am using a rub of chili powder, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, sugar, and, above all, garlic sriracha. When it is done smoking (using charcoal and mesquite), I will squeeze several limes over the turkey wings.
I believe one of the keys to losing weight is by eating tasty low carb (and the sugar is negligible) food. And so far it is working for me.
