What appeals to the voter?
What appeals to the young voter it not the same that appeals to the middle aged voter or senior voter.
One of Hillary’s major problems in 2016 was her running her campaign in 1992 mode. The 1992 mode had little appeal. She still managed to get just over half of the votes, however.
Republicans have always had an ‘appeal’ problem. They were perceived as the party of big business. Democrats ‘appeal’ was the party of the common man/little people/etc.
For decades, we have been yelling for the Republicans to seek professional marketing advice.

You make a tremendous point with Cankles, who proves this! She did not appeal to anyone’s heart. Trump did. Yes, many hated him but he appealed to the heart through MAGA.
