He’s not appointed. He’s elected. In fact, the reason he was elected was because the long standing past Maricopa County Recorder, who was Republican, screwed up by not having enough polling places which caused voters to stand in line for hours to vote.

However, he can’t do the job either. Maricopa County is huge. The Maricopa County Bd of Supv may want to look at how much money they decide to appropriate to their budgets.

They were mail in ballots. The Maricopa County Recorder had them for three weeks and didn’t count them. Maricopa County has a majority Republican voter registration advantage.

Statewide the Republican Party had a lead at 118,650 ballots that were mailed in.

The votes they are showing are the voters in voted at the polls only.

Don’t worry, McSally has it.

Why are pre-filled out “absentee” ballots being accepted at polling stations at all? This should be against the law! The whole point of an absentee ballot is that you sign it and send it in. If you’re PHYSICALLY AT THE POLLING STATION you need to sign to get your ballot right there.

I don’t know. I mail my in, the postage is free. In fact, Maricopa County has an online app that a voter can check that will verify they received it and it was counted. I did that myself this year.

I can’t believe 475,000 people with mail in ballots walked them to a poll. That would have been around half the total who voted in Maricopa County.

There’s a lot of misinformation out there and officials aren’t making it very clear.

My wife works with a number of elderly in a retirement community. Plenty of voters. Many registered Republicans - and many of them watch MSNBC and were terrified McSally was going to steal their Social Security or smother them in their beds.

Not every Republican over 60 or 70 is a conservative. Plenty of NE liberal GOPers retire in Arizona. Our kooks don’t ALL come from California!

There aren’t that many outstanding right now. The SOS office, Associated Press and Bing all show Maricopa precincts as 100% reporting and 900,000 votes with McSally 9/10th of one percent less than Enema.

Funny isn’t it how Ducey won re-election but how can that be in AZ?

Did you look at the AZ Secty of State elections page? She is saying as of now, Ducey has 150,000 more votes than McSally.

I really can’t believe 150,000 voted for Ducey and then voted Sinema.

The Republican party has lawyers there. I’m sure it will be okay. They further stated that there is also a D and I lawyer there too. No wonder it will take weeks. McSally has this.

Maricopa County has never voted for a Dem in a statewide election.

It was ‘election day’. How the hell do all these supposed votes go uncounted? Utter corrupt madness.

Yeah, IIRC the pre-election-day ballots are supposed to be tallyed as they are received. The Arizona SOS says that Maricopa didn't report. All the urban counties in this country are bedeviled by some sort of shenanigans or another. And the elected officials responsible all seem to suffer from Oppositional Defiance Disorder. Is this an artifact of the Soros secretary of state project?
