And if what you say is correct, then the new pressure from the trade war will cause a big crisis. Hopefully the Chinese will relent and allow true capitalism/free markets to come in and save the day.
May cause a new revolution, however.
You know, from what I can tell, Trump is an absolute prodigy. Those tariffs and the threat of a trade war with China are more deadly to them than anything we could do with our military. Instead of plotting a long game, and planning how in fifty years they will bury us, Trump has upended those would-be Mandarins and got the them scrambeling around trying to figure what he’s going to do next. They don’t have a clue about that, or how they should respond, or how they’re going to keep their economy afloat on the meantime.
