I like making the Egg McMuffins at home. I make them much better than McDonalds.
What I do is fry up two extra-large eggs along with 2-3 thick slabs of bacon (per sandwich). I then toast up the English muffins and put Kerrygold butter on them. Then I take two thick slices of swiss cheese and put it all together. So very good. So much better than how it is made at the McDonalds. But I will eat the ones from McDonalds from time to time if it is not convenient to make myself. However, I get thirsty after having the McDonalds ones. I think they put too much salt.

If you haven't already tried these, they're great for a quick egg! A little shot of pam, and a minute and a half in the microwave. The egg comes out perfect size for an English muffin. Washes up pretty easy. I use one of these when I don't have time to fire up the cast iron.

My beloved is on his 2nd McMuffins machine. The furbabies get all excited when they hear the English Muffin package being moved. LOL It’s a wonderful aroma, along with coffee in the morning!
