Many years ago I threw out all of my Barbra Streisand albums for this kind of nonsense. Now I can make a stronger statement.
To wit, I have a Pink channel on pandora that connects me to a LOT of Taylor Swift songs. They all have a thumbs up and cycle through quite a bit. I listen to it at work while producing documentation.
I have it on now. Every time a Tay-Tay song comes on I give it a thumbs down. Pandora tracks this stuff. I suspect I’m not the only one.

Who remembers the Dixie Chicks today? Mention them and most people have to Google them, to even learn of their fate.
The Dixie Chicks are only now making their long way back, after years in exile.
Taylor Swift might take a lesson from the example set by Natalie Maines, who trod all over the sensibilities of the Nashville music scene, and sent the trio into a downward spiral that saw virtually ALL their music disappear from the air play rotations.
Talk about monolithic lack of diversity, between her, Arianna Grande, Katy Perry, Madonna, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga - they are ALL your typical uninformed Hollywood Liberal who think we give a crap who they vote for. They all think they are loved because they can change the world and visualize whirled peas - really stupid, perhaps talented musicians, but really stupid.
Maybe this is the real Taylor Swift, and the sweet thing that was marketed was the act. That would explain a lot.
