I don’t recognize what I see on the news ..... people so angry and with absolutely no sense ... no hesitation about attacking and/or killing , just because that person has a different opinion.

Maybe, but things get worse if they pick up seats, not better. This is why it is so vital that the American people soundly and decisively and utterly reject the modern left at the polls, at the ballot box. There can be no room for this “well we lost last night, but we really won, here’s why” BS the left likes to trot out.

They will not accept the results of elections when they lose. They do not “reach across the aisle” or compromise in any way. They have tried to impeach every Republican president since Eisenhower. They defamed a good man - Barry Goldwater - in 1964, and their vote fraud shenannigans are legendary. Heck, maybe Dewey really did defeat Truman, who knows.

I agree the country is on the verge of civil war and all it would take is a single spark to light the inferno. Consider if Ruth Bader Ginsberg were to die. What we saw with Kavanaugh’s nomination would be nothing in comparison to the rage that will be unleashed with another conservative being appointed to the SCOTUS. I could see riots in major cities, acts of terrorism and even political assassinations.

What the left fails to grasp is that the Founding Fathers gave us the ultimate protection in the Second Amendment. Average Americans will defend their homes and communities. The US military will also be true to their oath to defend the Constitution from all enemies both foreign and domestic. The leftists that see the violence as a means to bring down our Republic will be mowed down in the streets

But, without secret service protection it’s almost impossible to stop a determined person with a high power rifle.

Even with SS protection it is the same if the determined person is willing to die to kill you.

But the secret service usually sweeps the perimeter of where the prez will be including buildings, roofs, windows and other potential sniper nests. Without these precautions there’s nothing anyone can really do to stop a sniper except to stop being in public or disguising oneself.
