It will be interesting to see.
Personally, I think most democrats and republican voters are long since crystallized and hardened into their positions. It’s just where the central fringe moderates in each part, as well as the ‘independents’ and un-affiliated libertarians that I wonder about. Even if you are getting your information from the MSM and drive-by sound bites, I feel it’s got to be hard to buy into how frivolous and weak the accusations seem to be.
What’s going to be interesting is how any public hearings play out. If they are anything like the partisan freakshow we saw during the previous hearings, we are sure to get lightening-rod sound bytes again that will only serve to to feed each side of the propaganda machines the narrative they want to project.
How critical are people thinking? How skeptically are they questioning the apparent veracity of all this?
It’s a bit hard to gauge when you listen to the pundits. I personally have faith in people to see through the BS.
