Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has expressed his outrage to Israel's Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman after 15 Russian servicemen died when their plane was shot down by Syrian air defenses during a sudden Israeli air attack.

Russia's Defense Ministry says 4 Israeli F-16's used the larger Russian IL-20 plane as a decoy for their attack on the northern Syria city of Latakia.

Russia says it reserves the right to an "adequate response"....

All I’m saying is that it’s a dangerous game. Especially if it results in Putin personally looking bad. He doesn’t seem to be the kind of guy who will take that and not strike back.

Let me see if I understand you. The Israelis should allow terrorists to develop camps to rest, train, and refit in a neighboring country, and ignore those terrorists, even though they're launching missiles and mortars into Israeli territory and killing Israeli citizens............all because the idiots who supposedly own said country where the terror camps are located may not be able to tell friend from foe and may accidentally shoot down one of their allies' planes....which may make Putin may look bad?

And that is less dangerous than retaliating because Putin may strike back and attack some of your citizens......so on one hand do nothing and your citizens will certainly get killed. On the other hand kill terrorists and run the risk someone may strike back at you.
