Stuff like that generally gets construed as simple assault. Doesn’t matter if you are with Mr. Trump or against him. Grabbing personal property, even in the midst of campaigning, counts as simple assault. Even if one sticks one’s hand on a lens.
But note the reactions from each side. GOP: volunteer person gets a stern talking-to, told services are no longer required. DEM: actual candidate gets squad of flacks to chase away journalists asking unpleasant questions.
