Back in the day I used to do photofinishing for a west Texas city PD. Thankfully I only saw the horrors that could expose me to on just one occasion where they wanted glossy 8x10s for the trial.
I joked at the time, probably trying to convince myself, that I could look for dust or judge the prints for proper development without looking at the picture.
The news story said that when the jury saw my perfect prints several of them started crying.
The dirtbag former boyfriend / killer was effortlessly convicted.
But every so often when I close my eyes I may see flashes of what little remained of her face and head after he was through....
I remember a case here in Indiana where a similar incident happened but in addition to beating the guy within an inch of his life they also tattooed the word “molester” on his forehead.
We could free up a lot of prison space and save a lot of money by letting prisoners serve reduced sentences along the mexican border. Tell them, 3 year stint and you get parole if you make sure no illegals pass within this here space you are assigned. Got it buuba?

Prisoners who kill abusers are acting out on a lot of fronts
wish the inmates/guards who did the harm or their families had to foot the bill for this guy being hospitalized or if they end up killing him in prison.
Sure I don’t like his crime but their criminal retaliation only costs the tax payers more in over priced hospitalization or law suits by family for not protecting inmate etc.
