Omarosa Manigault Newman was put in the hot seat while trying to explain why she continued to work for President Trump after she believed he used racial language.
The former White House staff member conducted an interview with TMZ on Tuesday to discuss the secret recordings she speaks about in her new book Unhinged.
Manigault Newman recently released a conversation between her and campaigners Lynne Patton and Katrina Pierson in 2016. All three staffers can be heard discussing Trump saying the word nigger. Patton said the president denied using the racial slur when asked, but Manigault Newman responded back, Thats not true.
However, TMZ founder Harvey Levin said he was stunned trying to figure out why the former White House staffer continued to be Trumps fiercest supporter after knowing he may have been guilty of using racial language.
The Apprentice reality star replied, That [the 2016 recording] was following the Hollywood Access rape Harvey if you had told me that Donald Trump said that he could grab women by the genitals and get away with it I wouldnt have believed you.
Manigault Newman said her trust in Trump was shattered and expressed that she was on a mission to find out if, in fact, that [was] true. She continued, I needed to know for myself if, in fact, he said that.
The 44-year-olds team cut the interview short. Levin claims the former White House aides team was not amused.
The star released another audio that alleges Lara Trump offered to pay Manigault Newman a $180,000 salary to keep silent after she was fired by Chief of Staff John Kelly.

That word is not even in my vocabulary . DJT
Nothing but accusations. No evidence provided. Just she said.
That’s it. That’s all that’s been provided so far.
And people take this crap seriously?
Like OJ to find the killers.
“Nothing but accusations. No evidence provided. Just she said.”
Even worse— she heard people saying he said it.
She wants it both ways and wants a pass on account of being like mike (obozo that is).
After reading what Piers Morgan said about her, she should be tossed into the dustbin of history.
It is in nobody’s vocabulary. I’ve never heard it expressed in my entire life except by black street people and a Russian immigrant once in a fight with a black guy on a Manhattan street.
Decent Americans - white and black - loathe that word.
Same with Anita Hill on Clarence Thomas - followed him from job to job to job.
I guess that’ll teach him not to get involved with ‘N’ words, right?
For some reason, it’s being touted as something commonplace .. as if white folks sit around and talk like that.
Maybe it’s happening on the streets, but not in the lives of every-day America — life as I know it.
Trump didn’tsay he could grab women by the genitals. Trump said women threw their genitals at rich men, as Omarosa herself has done, on more than one occasion
Like Piers Morgan, for instance.
More to the point, NO businessman in New York City would use the word, even in private conversation. Even as far back as the ‘70s.
“After Trump N-word Debacle”
Deceptive headline. A debacle is over an actual event.
“The 44-year-olds team cut the interview short”
LOL
I couldn’t ever see him using it with malice. Maybe there’s a tape of him singing rap lyrics or speaking about it in a passive voice as Obama did on many occasions or as Papa John did and was canned for it.
I could also see him joshing around on a set and using it in a joking/light-hearted way as Bill Maher did. But, if any of these tapes existed, they almost certainly would have been released by now. The media works as hard to destroy Trump as the did to protect Obama. It would have been virtually impossible to keep such a thing under wraps.
-—It is in nobodys vocabulary.-—
Like I said recently: I’m a white man surrounded mostly by other white people. I NEVER hear that word under any circumstances.
Yet we’re supposed to believe that this woman is apparently heraing the word constantly, not only from Trump but from other white Apprentice contestants.
What’s more likely? That this semi-famous black woman is unluckily surrounded by semi-famous white people who use the word regularly, or that she’s a lying, race-baiting opportunistic phony?
In all my years of working in Manhattan - ALOT! - I have never heard that word uttered by anybody in an office. Sometimes on the street but only by teenage black males.
Not true, it's only a word, a derogatory word, but a word.
Many decent {but ignorant} black Americans use the word all the time, with no malicious intent. When they do, so do I.
There is no sacred word, that only some people can use.
Don't let your hair get wrapped around the axle, it really hurts when it's pulled out by the roots.
