Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones found an unlikely ally in liberal comedian Bill Maher on Friday.
Maher defended Jones on his show, HBO’s “Real Time,” after Jones and his company, InfoWars, were essentially purged from social media. The bans came after CNN pressed social media companies to investigate whether Jones’ content violated their terms of service.
What did Maher say?
During a panel discussion, Maher defended Jones’ right to speak freely without recourse. Maher explained the protection of free speech is a fundamental value of liberalism.
“If you’re a liberal, you’re supposed to be for free speech. That’s free speech for the speech you hate. That’s what free speech means,” Maher said...

A liberal, or Progressive is someone who feels that the laws need to be changed.
Our country, while still founded during the practice of slavery, is still the best national government ever to grace the surface of the earth.
We found our way out of Slavery, although it was the brilliant thinking and planning (You can’t just ban slavery in foul swoop.. It would destroy a budding nation’s economy and send us back to hunter-gatherer status) of the American Conservative (Someone who is.. or should be dedicated to the preservation of the laws and rules that made us the best country on the planet) who made that happen.

Free speech but this was on top of it defense speech against media lies. Basically Social media has decided to muzzle those who are attacked and is organizing a pogrom.

In effect, because they have invited opposition only on their platforms to be batted by the Nazis liberals, they yave forfeited their right to control speech as a private entity. You cannot have it both ways, promote a point and invite an opposition solely to muzzle it in the social media arena like a vulgar show
Bill Maher is showing his age. He will soon be excoriated (or worse) by the fascists most liberals have become.
When we as a country, many many years ago were discussing the Electoral College and the will of the people at the ballot the parties were created - One to push us to a democracy and the other to remain a republic. You can see the significance of the name right there.
Thus began one of the “house divided” debates that started a pattern of partisan disagreement. Brilliantly the two parties found a way around it that was not “compromise”. I know our history books like to throw that word around, but they didn’t compromise. They developed a new solution that combined.
A popular vote would be available to all of the people (Well, non slave men anyway) . The results would go hand in hand with Electoral votes. They knew that not everyone had all of the information to vote for a lawmaker but the will of the people could still be taken into account during the process.
From there, things only got worse. The Liberal has ALWAYS wanted to “fundamentally change” america starting with the vote and the dismissal of an electorate.
What’s really funny are the Democrat delegates, which fly in the face of that.
