A poster for a recent Pearl Jam concert has sparked outrage for depicting the corpse of President Donald Trump.

The band staged a concert to get fans to vote for Democratic Sen. Jon Tester on Monday. To promote the show, bassist Jeff Ament and artist Bobby Draws Skullz drew up some artwork that included graphic imagery of the White House on fire and the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial cracked and breaking.

The artwork also included an image of the corpse of Trump being picked at by a bald eagle while it reaches for a briefcase that appears to have the communist hammer and sickle emblem on it.

In the photo, Sen. Tester is flying above the fray on a tractor while his opponent, Montana Senate Republican candidate Matt Rosendale, is depicted with a lobster claw and holding a sign that reads “Maryland.”(continued)

Ha. Great Fishbone story. When you saw the Chili Peppers their double album Stadium Arcadia hadn’t come out. It’s fantastic. Anthony’s allure always seemed to be that he’s just a little off key. Lol

I'll give it another shot. Mrs Wbill is more the Chili Peppers fan.

I like bands with (generally) smaller followings in smaller venues. Like Fishbone. I just think that it's more fun.

As for stories....Caught a SoCal band called ZebraHead when they were just starting out in a little tiny club a long, long time ago. They were the opening act (I don't even remember the headliner....), and they absolutely blew the doors off the place. There was a line at the payphone (that tells you how long ago it was) of college kids telling their friends to "Come down here NOW!". :-)

Anyhoo, they played their set. Did an encore. Got called out for a second encore. When they came back on stage for a *third* encore, the lead singer said, ".....Um, we don't know any more songs. So, is it OK if we just play some of the first set again?" LOL. One of the top shows I've seen, unfortunately, I've never seen them again, probably just as well since it was probably one of those lightning in a bottle moments that bands sometimes catch. I think that they're really big in Japan, now.
