A stunning development. FBI made it sound like Steele was a peripheral, incidental character. Now it is coming to light he was directly involved with FBI and on their payroll. A foreign agent who failed to register as a foreign agent. FBI’s denials and redactions are becoming comical — or at least it would have been comical if this scandal was not such a serious danger to America.

I have been hoping the “four D chess” thing was the truth. Can’t be but one of three: Deep State compliance, Trump’s guy playing 4D chess, or total incompetence. It is looking more and more like the latter.

Sessions is recused. Rosenstein is Deep Stack. They aren't doing anything "behind the scenes".

It’s infuriating to me the way Sessions is acting. He is doing a real disservice to the president and country. We aren’t asking him to be a corrupt puppet like Holder, we want him to enforce our laws equally for everyone. We want him to do his job. If he isn’t willing to do his job he should step down so someone else could take over. If he was a stand up guy he would have stepped down a long time ago, or refused the nomination.
It’s really upsetting that the FBI has gotten so political and dirty. I wish J. Edgar Hoover was still around and in charge of the FBI. We would not have the slop we have today with Mueller’s investigation, Comey and Strzok would not be working for the FBI. None of the nonsense we see coming out of the FBI would be there. It’s frightening that the FBI and the CIA have been so contaminated and that nothing is being done to clean them up. The country is in trouble.
