Acosta brought this on himself by degrading Trump supporters who criticized his reporting .....his comments like..“They don’t have all their faculties and in some cases their elevator might not hit all floors.” Reporters are supposedly a 'neutral' arbiter of facts, not a commenter on them. Acosta knows if you make a spectacle on the air then you’ll get more airtime and more clicks...and nobody loves grandstanding as he does.
