Alda was funny in “The Four Seasons.” Dear Lord, talk about a gaggle of annoying, braying, whiny, pretentious characters (okay, “The Big Chill” probably has them beat). I never could figure out why they kept vacationing together, but their mishaps and arguments were funny.
Good luck to Alan dealing with his condition.

I HATED Mash with a passion ...
MASH started as a sit-com, and I was comfortable with that. But after 3 or 4 seasons its subtle anti-war theme (specifically Vietnam) became not so funny.
I didn't like the message in that format, but quite frankly, as a VN vet, I couldn't disagree with it.

In real life the author of M*A*S*H, Richard Hooker(Dr. H. Richard Hornberger), was a conservative and hated the TV series.

Send his sorry ass to a M.A.S.H. unit that specializes in cancer comedy. Let’s laugh at his misfortune like he did our service men who died in the Korean Conflict.

Alan Alda has Parkinson's disease.
Big deal!
The manager of my senior softball team has Parkinson's and he plays and another senior friend on another team has Parkinson's so bad that his glove hand shakes when he's standing in the outfield.
Neither one seems to want to stand in front of a camera and beg for sympathy...........

Well, we all have to go from something, nevertheless, it's still sad news.
Alda's condition doesn't even come close to one of the guys I mentioned in my previous post.........

Especially his hair! Who had hair like that back in the 50’s?

Pray for his salvation. He desperately needs Jesus.

Alda's condition doesn't even come close ...
Doesn't mean his brand of suffering is any less painful.
Also, he was diagnosed three years ago and only now chose to go public. I don't consider that standing in front of a camera and begging for sympathy.

I never liked how Alda screwed up MASH. He is the epitome of the granola crunching constipated old liberal who is miserable and wants everyone else miserable. My favorite movie he was in was the one where he is some white house staffer who gets blown away by the secret service. I know, it is petty but yay!!
Alda Center for Communicating Science This is a concern...
