That figure is even more damning when you remember that blacks comprise only 12 percent of the population. It means that a black man is hundreds of times more likely to kill a white man (or woman) than a white person is to kill a black.

It’s worse then that. Black males age 14-35 are 3% of the population and are responsible for 50% of murders.

Given the numbers in the chart, about 500 times more likely.
Am I doing the math right? I know black men are (on average) much more violent than whites, but that sounds extreme.
