Ruger Sp-101 in .327 federal magnum. 6 shots. A powerhouse.

Ruger LCR .38 +P...
Small, with no hammer to snag, but packs a good punch, especially when carrying the right defensive loads.
Wife prefers S&W .38 +P Air weight...

Ruger LCR in .38+P. I carry that about as often as I carry my Glock 43 in 9mm. I am comfortable and confident with either.

Hard to get the ammo for it, though.

The only revolver I rely on for carry is a 44 mag bear gun. I figure there is no reloading in a bear attack.

Ruger LCRX...because I don’t want to gift my 1969 pinned and recessed S&W Model 49 to some cop.

My wife packs a Ruger 38 spl stainless Speed Six 2&1/2 barrel. No +P rounds. Its a medium frame which fits her hand nicely. The objective is to put bullets on the target. If thats accomplished then task successfull.e

Ruger Sp-101 in .327 federal magnum.
Mine is chambered in .357 but I carry with .38 Spl. Full power loads turn it into a small flamethrower. Its heavy but the weight helps soak up recoil. I have a pair of Five Star speed loaders for it.
Solid little pistol and itll outlive me for sure.

How in the world is the Charter Arms Bulldog .44 Special revolver NOT on this list?
JMO, but author needs his carburetor adjusted.
To: snoringbear
That is EVERYTHING. If you can't hit your target the biggest gun in the world will NOT do you any good.
If your wife has to defend herself a 38 round center mass will put the bad guy down.

This is my exact carry. My only problem? Is beautiful. I can’t stop looking at it or holding it.
