The only reason to buy Dell is that if you pay an extra $200+ a year, you can get on-site next-day technicians to fix it. And if they can’t fix it, they’ll give you a new one (although it may be a refurbished different model.)
That’s the only reason I ever buy Dell, and never buy any other brand computer.
I buy only from Dell for PCs.
Since I can fix my own, I don’t bother with the extended warranty.
My current one is 4 years old and zero troubles from a hardware standpoint.
I put a new Dell tower in for my wife to replace the junker I hated yesterday.
