The Proud Boys, a right-wing men’s group, is claiming a higher profile role in the region, with two members involved in a confrontation outside the Vancouver Mall that raised concerns for some about a miscarriage of justice.
VANCOUVER, Clark County — Mykel Mosley walked out of the Vancouver Mall and saw something that made him angry: a pickup flying what he says was a Donald Trump flag.
The African-American teenager yelled out an obscenity about Trump.
Two men got out of the truck, and chased Mosley, one of them spinning him briefly to the ground.
A video, posted online, shows some of the May 11 confrontation and its aftermath — including Mosley’s being turned over by mall guards to police who arrested him.
The man who grabbed Mosley was identified by the Clark County prosecuting attorney as Tusitala “Tiny” Toese. Another man, Donovon Flippo, through a posting from his Facebook account, says he joined in the pursuit of Mosley.
Both men describe themselves as members of the Proud Boys, a right-wing fraternal group that says its members are “Western chauvinists who refuse to apologize for creating the modern world.” Its website lists eight ways to “save America.” Among them: “give everyone a gun,” “venerate the housewife,” “shut down the government.”(continued)

Antifa sits around assaulting (and promptly running away from like the tough guys they are) people all throughout the country, and it's like "yawn" from the media.
I’ve met Tiny and some of the other West Coast Proud Boys. Overall they are very fine Americans. If you want to have a pro-America patriot rally in Berkeley or Portland, etc., it sure helps to have some Proud Boys around.
this is a good group of men for the most partand I bet that there is more to the story then was told but like any good group they can have idiots join them and its how the group responds to members misbehaving that is important. so I will wait to hear what the group has to say and before coming to a conclusion.....if all they did was chase the kids then they are just idiots but if the men did violence with out it being innated by the kids first and there is no repercussions with in the club I will be disappointed... this group is the type that believe men should be gentlemen and protective of women and children. most of the men in this group are the type that stop to help when someone is in trouble. most of my info I have gotten from social media...I bet we have some Freepers who are members and can explain it beter then me.
The writer isn’t a smooth storyteller. Just looking at the first paragraph, there seem to be pieces missing in the sequence of events. I haven’t yet seen the video, but what was the boy arrested for, saying something bad about Trump? There had to be something else going on, maybe a direct threat of violence.

There were quite a few of them at the Portland rally with masks and goggles. Some of them looked as goofy as the Antifa folks. (Actually, the Proud Boys looked goofier - the Antifa with their all-black attire are at least color coordinated.)
On the other hand, if you are going to have a march, know that Antifa will start something, and figure the police will end up using pepper spray, you’re kind of stupid if you don’t come prepared.
They sound like FBI to me...
Seems their main purpose is to defend people against violent attacks by antifa so we can’t have that.
