Gee, I suppose I’ve got to go throw my 1911 in the trash now.
I mean, American Shooting Journal says it had severe limitations...
Oh, the despair... I’m an anachronism, stuck in the last century.
I CCW my Full Size Sig P320 RX, IWB @ 5 o'clock. 17 rds. w 2 mags for back up.
So it is both Offensive/Defensive

Do laser installs account for range and gravity?
Yet another if you ain’t a Glockster you ain’t **it thread. Elmer Keith would have some choice words for this bunch, lol.
In response to the 1911 discussion, I would suggest reading the article. In context, it says:
“Ideally, an offensive handgun is going to be a large-frame gun like a M1911A1 (a modern one with adjustable sights and rails; not your grandpas war hammer), a full size Glock or Sig Sauer 320.”
In other words, he agrees with all normal people that the 1911 is one of the top options for offense (which is an application that few of us will use short of a second Civil War). I’ve updated my 1911 with adjustable tritium sights, so it’s closer to meeting his standards.
