You are spot on. I was at a wedding last night, and discussing our current culture and society with a recently retired Inspector General who worked in several agencies (including DoD, DOJ, DHS, and DOS).

He is a Christian, and a very intelligent man. He said the Obama holdovers in government have done, and are doing, tremendous damage.

But that is only the scratching the surface of the real problem. It is only a mere symptom. The real problem, as we all know, is our fallen world, sin, Satan, and the fact that the great majority of people in this world have rejected Jesus Christ.

I have said this before here, but when I read that "89% of Americans profess to be Christians" I can only shake my head and look at my shoes.

When Jesus said "only a few find it", what is a few?

Well, it is less than 50%, by definition. How much less than 50%? I think a lot less.

I believe the number in the US is less than 10%, and in the world even less than that.

Based on what I see daily out in the “world” and the good old “God Bless America” (let me hold my nose from the stench of saying that), I’d say probably 5% of Americans are True Saved By The Blood of Christ Christians. Probably 2% of the world is Christian. Think about those numbers. Scary...

The Lord is separating the sheep from the goats. He’s coming soon and He is absolutely right when He says this in Luke 18:8:

“However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”
